Ethan was abducted from his front yard when he was just seven years old. Now, at sixteen, he has returned to his family. It’s a miracle… at first. Then the tensions start to build. His reintroduction to his old life isn’t going smoothly, and his family is tearing apart all over again. If only Ethan could remember something, anything, about his life before, he’d be able to put the pieces back together. But there’s something that’s keeping his memory blocked. Something unspeakable…
I only read 2 contemps this month. One was just okay to me (Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park) but I ended up really enjoying The One That I Want by Jennifer Echols. :) Angie @ Pinkindle R&R recently posted..In My Mailbox [14]
My favorite read from my list so far has been Anna and the French Kiss! I know I’m like the last one ever to this party, and I don’t think I loved it as much as many people have (I wanted to take Anna and St. Claire’s heads in each hand and smash them together), but I liked it a lot! It’s been slow going for me on the challenge. So far of the books on my list I’ve only read Forbidden, which I didn’t care for. However I do have a few others that I’ll be reading soon!
My favorite has probably been The Fault in Our Stars by John Green because it was so emotional yet I still laughed at some of the corny jokes. Taylor recently posted..Waiting on Wednesday (2)
I loved Dont Breathe a Word and I absolutely loved Graffiti Moon! I know you didn’t care much about it, but I just adore it! melannie :) recently posted..Review: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
I looooved The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith and Sometimes It Happens by Lauren Barnholdt. Chopsticks by Jessica Anthony and Rodrigo Corral has also definitely left a lasting impression. Britt recently posted..Waiting On Wednesday (6)
I just finished Slide by Jill Hathaway, I’m not sure it counts as a contemp, but it felt like a contemporary to me. Either way, I really love it. I also just started The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and I am enjoying it so far. My first John Green book, and I need to read more of his novels. After this I am going to check out some Sarah Dessen and Jennifer Echols books. I always hear great things about their writing.
I read SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS by Lauren Barnholdt and loved it! I put the rest of her books on my to-read list. And I finished THE FAULT IN OUR STARS the other night. Now that I’m done tearing up, I can talk about how well-written the characters were.
Thanks for the giveaway!
So far, I really loved Belles by Jen Calonita. Such a cute story.
