1. What is your favorite road trip music?
Loud, loud pop music of happiness is best for road trips I’ve always said.

2. How many movies did you see this summer?
At the movie theatre? Well let’s see—seven. I love movies so much and I have passed that on to my son who was usually my date, except for Bridesmaids. We were especially excited to see Harry Potter of course.

3. Describe your favorite pair of shoes.
I am a comfortable shoe person. I don’t own a pair of heels. Well, not true, I do, but none that I’ve purchased in the last five years. My fave shoes are actually boots. Black leather funkidelicious boots.

4. Where do you normally keep your jacket?
We have a coat room and it is supposed to hang there. Sometimes, okay often, I drape it over the dining room chair.

5. What is the oddest thing on your desk right now?
Um. A Wonder Woman Barbie Doll.

About If I Tell:
Jasmine Evans knows one thing for sure… people make mistakes. After all, she is one. Jaz is the result of a onenight stand between a black football player and a blonde princess. Having a young mother who didn’t raise her, a father who wants nothing to do with her and living in a small-minded town where she’s never fit in hasn’t been easy. But she’s been surviving. Until she sees her mom’s new boyfriend making out with her own best friend. When do you forgive people for being human or give up on them forever?

From JanetGurtler.com:
My road to author was a little windy. While in college, I worked as a DJ in a night club. I like to tell people that because it makes me sound cooler than I am. After college I worked as an advertising copywriter for radio and then TV and eventually was lured over to sales and marketing. I missed writing though and years later (always a late bloomer was I) after having my son, I started my first book. I’ve been writing books ever since and once I started writing YA, found like I’d found my way home.
