Book Summary (from Goodreads.com):
Abby accepted that she can’t measure up to her beautiful, magnetic sister Tess a long time ago, and knows exactly what she is: Second best. Invisible.
Until the accident.
Now Tess is in a coma, and Abby’s life is on hold. It may have been hard living with Tess, but it’s nothing compared to living without her.
She’s got a plan to bring Tess back though, involving the gorgeous and mysterious Eli, but then Abby learns something about Tess, something that was always there, but that she’d never seen.
Abby is about to find out that truth isn’t always what you think it is, and that life holds more than she ever thought it could…
Review:
One of my favorite things in the literary world are the contemporaries from Elizabeth Scott. I was so happy to see this one was going to be released.
Elizabeth Scott has a way of writing that completely pulls me into her world. I’ve read a few reviews for Between Here and Forever and see that not everyone loved this one as much as I did and I am kind of sad about it – because I devoured it and loved every minute.
Abby is a character who thinks her sister is the most perfect person in the world (I have been reading a lot of books with this theme, oddly). This sometimes annoys me, but Abby’s feelings for her sister held an innocence that made them feel more real than they have to me in other books with the same theme.
My favorite part of Between Here and Forever is that Abby learns so much about herself throughout the book. She starts holding her sister on a high pedestal, but soon learns to value and respect herself through the discoveries she makes about Abby and Eli.
I am so happy to have another Elizabeth Scott book to recommend.

This one was far more depressing than I was anticipating. Not that I didn’t like it because I did but was hoping for a few more lighter moments.
