1. If you could have been a member of any band, which band would you choose?
This is so geeky to admit, but I’d choose The Partridge Family.  It was a TV show from the 70s about a mom and 5 kids who have a band.  I really wanted to be a member of The Partridge family and tour in a bus and get out of school for a gig.  More importantly, I had a huge crush on David Cassidy who played Keith Partridge.  (It didn’t occur to me as a teenager that if I were in the band, he’d be my brother…and, uh, it’s creepy to have a crush on your brother.)

2. How many hours of sleep do you typically get in a night?
Eight hours of sleep is typical.  If I get less than six, I turn into a very crabby person who craves frosted mini-wheats.

3. What is your favorite zoo exhibit?
Baboons.  They just seem so naughty.

4. What amusement park concession do you most prefer?
Indian fry bread—I love it!! The dilemma is always whether to have it as a meal with meat and beans.  Or—order it for dessert drizzled with honey and powdered sugar.  (And yes, ‘both’ is a nice option but not if you plan to go on any rides.)

5. Describe your last bad haircut.
Me.  In front of the mirror.  A strand of bangs in one hand, a pair of scissors in the other.  “I’ll just take off a little…”
