1. Tell us about a concert you loved.
Elvis Costello has been a fave of mine since high school. (I know, this dates me terribly.) I missed seeing his concert during my senior year because I had to work. I finally saw him a few years ago at the Hard Rock in Orlando. He sang all his hits from back in the punk / new wave days (plus his later stuff)–without a band. It was just him on a guitar with one piano player on a couple songs. He even sang totally acapella without a mike. His voice totally filled the Hard Rock. Incredible.
2. What is your favorite holiday?
I do quite enjoy Halloween, but Christmas is definitely my favorite. I get into the mood to cook / bake mass quantities.
3. What winter activity do you enjoy?
Does sitting in front of fire reading a good book count?
4. How many times have you been in a car more than 10 hours?
Many, many times. I lived in Florida for over 10 years and drove home to Virginia for the holidays every year. I’ve also driven cross-country.
5. Describe your favorite t-shirt.
I wore out this black t-shirt that said “Not everyone who wanders is lost.” (Or something like that.) My new favorite one is a Star City Rollergirls tee. It’s also black.
Thanks so much for participating in the Fun Five, Angie!

I get the same way around Christmastime–the excitement in the air is almost palpable! (Plus, any excuse to bake…)
