Cover Reveal: Summer and the City by Candace Bushnell
The cover for the second book in the Carrie Diaries series has been revealed!
From People.com:
“In the new book, the publisher reveals, readers will follow Carrie as “she learns to navigate the Big Apple.” During this “summer of firsts,” Carrie will begin her love affair with New York City, make lifelong friends, and meet some fascinating guys that populated her early life.
The publisher promises that with the latest installment, which will be released by Harper Collins on April 29, 2011, “The party is about to begin.”"
I really love these covers. I own The Carrie Diaries and have not read it yet – but I love that cover too! This one should be fun to see in a hard copy.

I have not read The Carrie Diaries yet but I love that cover. I will have to check out the first book.
The first book has pretty pink on it, too! I’m interested to see if they raise the gold on this cover up so that there is a little texture.
Hmm… I didn’t know that The Carrie Diaries was going to evolve into a series! I wasn’t a huge fan of the book, but I am one of the world’s biggest Carrie Bradshaw fans, so I’ll have to get my hands on “Summer in the City” when it comes out. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
I wasn’t aware it was going to be a series, either! They are some of my favorite colors – I notice that a lot of books don’t use pink, so maybe that’s why.
