Fun Five: Author Barry Lyga
1. What is your favorite household chore?
Do people actually HAVE favorite household chores? I would love nothing more than to outsource mine! 
I do get a sort of sublime pleasure from loading the dishwasher just right, though.
2. What country would you love to visit?
Australia. There are a lot of them, truthfully, but if anyone is handing out all-expenses-paid trips, I’d go Down Under.
3. If you could participate in the Olympics, what event would you participate in?
Er, my athletic skills are nil. Unless “making stuff up for a living” becomes an Olympic event, I’m going to be sidelined, I’m afraid.
4. Tell us about one of your birthday parties.
On my twenty-fifth birthday, I was working on a comic book script that was NOT going well. I was holed up in my office all day, and at one point, I was so annoyed that I stomped down the stairs, bellowing how I sucked and this comic book would never be written. That’s when I realized I’d just walked right into my surprise party…
5. Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not?
Nah. At this point, I think there would be concrete, peer-reviewed evidence. Not “two guys in an old house with something weird on a tape.” I’m talking physics journals, etc. I remain open-minded — if I was showed conclusive proof, I’d believe, but nothing I’ve seen has been persuasive.
