300 Shirts?!
Hey guys (once again, I know most of you are girls, ok?), it’s Steve. A break from the normal reviews/in my mailbox/fun five postings for a social note! So, what’s up? Cool, same here.
Wow, 300 followers and counting. Not to mention the new book tour site that is up and running! I’m so proud of Shanyn and so thankful for every one of you who has been supporting her. She loves reading, blogging, and sharing her experiences with all of you. This really came to a culmination as she traveled to BEA and got to meet so many people that she enjoyed hanging out with, authors, and publishers (not to mention the bajillion books she got, amiright?). I’m very happy that she got to have this experience and meet such awesome people.
Anyways, let’s get past the sappy part of this post and on to the exciting news. Chick loves lit is selling shirts!! Ahhhh! Need a new cute unique t-shirt for the summer? How about a nice tote to haul some books around in? Interested in supporting Team Unicorn? All those items and more are now available at our mini-shop: http://chickloveslit.spreadshirt.com/ . Ahhhh! (yeah, this post will probably be interrupted by random yelling throughout now).
The shop is just in a simple 12 item start phase but there are some cute chick loves lit designs on there, some random fun ones, and some tote bags so that you don’t get bored with the shirts. Notes about the shop:
- Some of the designs are mens t-shirts while others are womens. This is mostly due to the fact that the mens and womens shirts are available in different colors, and by no means does it mean that girls should only order the “womens” shirts! It is listed fairly obviously right below the item if it is a mens or womens shirt and is just a factor that you should take into account when picking which size to order.
- Some of the designs have a front and a backside to the shirt! Don’t miss out on the backside of the shirt (you can view the backside by clicking the shirt), the shirts that have something printed on the back have “(2-Sided)” in their name.
- The color shown on the shirt is customizable, and some of the totes’ colors can also be changed. Careful of the dark print with dark shirt backgrounds and vice versa with the white on white if you are customizing the colors!
- If you really want a small variant in the design (a different colored text/image) email us at shanynlee[at]gmail.com and we will do our best to see if it’s possible.
- A small percentage of the item’s cost will help support chick loves lit! Buying a shirt/tote/bib( ?! wtf Steve?!) enables us to help ship more books, do more contests, and keep the website growing.
- More designs will be coming! If you have any fun/cute designs that you think we should utilize, ask and you (might) receive. If you have a design that you think others might like and want to buy, we’d be happy to host the design and you would receive a commission each time the item was sold!
