Readathon: Hour 18!

Apr 11, 2010 by

This will be my last post for the night – both Steve and I plan on reading a bit more, but since I will read until I am tired I don’t want to worry about coming back to post here until tomorrow :)

Mini-Challenge: Get The Heck Out of Here

  1. What steps did you take to ensure you’d be able to read as much as possible today?
Didn’t make any concrete plans :) I also officially signed up to be a reader and cheerleader so that I felt committed!
  2. Of those steps,  which proved to be the most beneficial to your day?
Cheerleading was a lot of fun and I ended up doing more than I thought I would!
  3. Is there anything you might do differently next time?
Not getting locked out of the house in the middle is probably the only thing I would change!

My Fair Lazy by Jen Lancaster
I tweeted Jen and told her that I loved her book and she actually responded already! (Usually authors get a million tweets so when I say something to them I always don’t expect a response)

altgeldshrugged @shanynlee – Thank you! This one was a lot of fun to write and I hope it comes through.

Thank you to all who stopped by my blog during the readathon – I am going to try to visit all of your blogs tomorrow to check them out!
I hope that everyone was able to have fun today! I am glad that I was able to participate :)

Wow I can't believe it's down to the 18th hour! It's been fun cheering people on. Hopefully I can participate next year too.

Yes, I am going to try to make it to 8:00! So far so good. I take little 5 min breaks, get up and walk around, wash my face, get a snack, stretch, anything to revive me.

Please let me know how Hex Hall is, It is on my list of books to get, so let me know if it is worth it!

Yo! Shanyn! Wake up and give us an update!

I think you would have done much better if the hubby had not locked you out! Hahahahahaha that still cracks me up!

lol hush Wendy!! :p Shanyn is currently making lunch, but she looks to be about 1/3 done with Hex Hall and I'm 140 pages into The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Did you make it all the way to 8?!
