Title: Things I Know About Love Author: Kate Le Vann Publisher: Egmont Publication Date: June 22, 2010 (Reissue)
Livia’s experience of love has been disappointing to say the least. But all that is about to change. After years of illness, she’s off to spend the summer with her brother in America. She’s making up for lost time, and she’s writing it all down in her private blog. America is everything she ever dreamed of – and then she meets Adam. Can Livia put the past behind her and risk falling in love again?
This book is not very long so I decided I would read it in one sitting (basically). I was intrigued with the blog format – the entire thing is written as blog or diary entries from two of the main characters. At times I liked this and at other times I didn’t – because it was generally a recap of events every time, there wasn’t as much dialogue as I normally like. On the other hand, our main character really had a chance to explore her emotions and feelings.

It was a great mix of chick lit and YA, and even had some events that I was not expecting. Recommended to those of you who enjoy these two genres, or like to read a little about romance and are looking for a quick read.
Beware: there are some very sad events in this book; it’s not all light and fluffy.

I'm not sure how I feel about books told in blog format, I read this one YA in blog format but I thought it was terrible, I won't say the name of the book, but yeah, maybe this one will wash the bad taste of that book away.
Interesting review. I always seem to enjoy chicklit books but can't say I have a favorite author yet. I've been reading about a new chicklit author Evinda Lepins. She has a pretty interesting website and seems to have all sorts of enthusiasm for sharing her writing with others.
